Pretty self-explanatory! Use it in conjunction with the language switch to work with region protection or correct PAL games to run in 60hz!ģ. Gives extra flexibility with the setup.Ģ. This means that regardless of the refresh rate, it'll output full colour however, I found that with the oscillator taking over from the SMD, RGB output weakens, hence the use of a switch. I've got a selectable colour mod to sort out the encoder problems inherent to all SMD consoles when changing the refresh rate. I just finished off my SMD2 mod job I've been working on the last couple of weekends between more important household duties :) I'm really happy with the end result:ġ.
